Welcome to the SPIRIT OF NEWARK NEW JERSEY, Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps!!!!

The SPIRIT OF NEW JERSEY is a DCI DIV II / III summer touring corps based in Newark, New Jersey. We have expanded our operations to Burlington, New Jersey. So now we cover the entire state.

2008 will be a very challenging year for us. Again we will be holding practices and camps in Newark, Jersey City and Burlington NJ. Most weekend camps will be held at the Charter School in Jersey City. Most Saturday practices will be held at the Newark Armory. Move-in camps will be held in Burlington NJ.

The Summer Competition Corps will be member supported with outside donations. Our goal is to give our Competition Corps members the best possible instruction with a full 3 1/2 week DCI Show Tour Schedule at the lowest price possible!!! Our tour fees will not change for 2008, even though we are traveling to Indianapolis for the DCI World Championships. In this day and age that is not an easy task!!! But with your commitment and dedication, the SPIRIT OF NEW JERSEY will become all you want it to be!!

In anticipation, be prepared for long, intense rehearsals every time you come and you will be rewarded with a creative, but demanding show and a high level of personal achievement. Each time you perform, you will need to step it up a notch!! Be ready to practice at a higher level of intensity and you will achieve a higher level of performance and technique.
